Digital Leaders Teach the School About the Digital 5-a-Day 💻🍎
Our Digital Leaders have been busy promoting healthy online habits by teaching the whole school about the Digital 5-a-Day – a simple and effective way to support well-being in a digital world.
Inspired by the idea of five portions of fruit and veg a day for physical health, the Digital 5-a-Day encourages children to look after their mental and emotional health while using technology. The five focus areas are:
-
Connect – Spend time with family and friends
-
Be Active – Balance screen time with movement
-
Get Creative – Use devices for creating, not just consuming
-
Give to Others – Be kind online and support others
-
Be Mindful – Take time to reflect and rest from screens
The Digital Leaders delivered a clear and engaging presentation to the whole school, helping pupils understand how small changes in their digital habits can make a big difference.
We’re so proud of their confidence, teamwork, and the brilliant example they’ve set in encouraging everyone to stay safe and balanced online.
